You can apply for Tesco Bank cash ISAs online in around ten minutes.

The Tesco Bank Instant Access Cash ISA can be opened with £1 and there are no withdrawal rules (aside from the daily limit). Tesco Bank also have a one-year Fixed Rate Cash ISA. You can’t withdraw money in that year without closing the account and paying a fee.

Good rate Cash ISA

its a flexible cash ISA which is extremely useful to be able to withdraw money when need especially for unexpected bills and you can repay the money back at a later date and it does not use up the 20k limit. The rate is decent. One draw back is on opening my account for some reason you are sent a letter in the welcome pack to sign and send back, slightly inconvenient but very tiny, first world problems. Good interest rate and totally fexible.

Good interest rate and totally fexible. The app is easy to use and moving money in and out is almost imediate. And also doesn't affect your tax free allowence when replacing withdrawn money. All in all a great product! Reviewed on: 22nd January 2026

Won't pay out at 18

My daughter turned 18 and we have spent one month trying get her money back. We sent pages and pages of documents but now the bank wants more info. Called the helpline but they have no flexibility and say unless they have everything exactly as requested (including documents certified by a solicitor which costs us money) the money is stuck. They will not even send her a cheque. I am now transferring my son's child ISA to another company. Absolutely ridiculous. Reviewed on: 25th April 2025

Do not recommend

Its been 3 months since my daughter turned 18 and 3 months of trying to get her isa money. They keep saying wrong documents sent. She's sent bank statements. Letter from her college provisional driving licence. All with her name and address. It's ridiculous now. No money. It's holding her back. She's so upset I am escalating a complaint. Incompetent Clowns

Incompetent Clowns Because of raising interest rates I transferred money from my current ISA provider to Tesco Bank, after nearly a month of holding my ISA nothing showed up on my account, after numerous phone calls letters and emails they claim that they do not have my money.
