Efficient and friendly service

Outstanding customer service

Great range of current and savings accounts available. Internet and mobile banking easy to access and navigate, with useful, straightforward functionality. Friendly local branch teams

While most of the big banks have abandoned the market town of Cockermouth, The Cumberland Building Society has stayed open though economic downturn and Covid-19. Great local service from a friendly team

I use the Plus current account for all my day to day banking needs and it suits my purposes entirely. The website is easy to use and when I have queries or concerns I can call the local team at Carlisle who are patient, very helpful and always friendly.
