Could do better

The proof of how good an insurance company is is how they deal with a claim. My experience of making a claim from Hamilton Fraser is not great. It took over one year to sort and would have taken much longer had I not chased them regularly. I don’t have much experience making claims but that seems excessive to me. they answer their phones and emails straight away!

they are all really helpful and ive never been in a queue on hold with annoying music..or sent to a call centre abroad.If you have a question they answer.Ive found the prices competitive for a good level of cover. Reviewed on: 10th October 2022

Helpful & kind

I reluctantly became a landlord after losing my job & Hamilton Fraser was very helpful & empathic in their dealings with me. Fast forward 2 years & I found myself having to remotely manage an HMO property let by my stepmother, following the death of my father. Hamilton Fraser was the only company that could act sensibly & sensitively - rather than a 'computer says no' attitude - in helping my elderly, none computer-literate stepmother, who is based abroad.
