Savings, Put into Overdrive

For years, I kept my emergency fund in a high-street 'savings' account, assuming it was doing its job. When I finally checked my annual interest statement, I’d earned enough for a cup of coffee—meanwhile, inflation had effectively taken a bite out of my buying power. My money wasn't just sitting still; it was shrinking. Switching to the Trading 212 Cash ISA was like putting my savings into overdrive. There’s something incredibly satisfying about waking up, opening the app, and seeing my balance has grown while I slept.
