Covid Claim March 2020

We took out an annual travel policy in February 2020 as we had a number of trips booked. The first break was to a family wedding in Strasbourg, France but imagine our worry when a relative rang asking us if we were OK as he had contracted Coronavirus at the wedding. This was the 6th March 2020 and I was already feeling ill with many of the symptoms we now know so well. We were tested and found to be positive. So, we had to cancel and claim for a March Cornwall trip and Travel Insurance Saver were prompt and helpful in moving us through the process. We were able to access and print out the claim forms to give to our doctor and once all the paperwork was completed and checked, it was accepted and paid out less the excess. The whole process was dealt with in a thoughtful and friendly manner, with due regard to our worries at this time. We were asked how we were and given best wishes about our health over the phone. This was very welcome and and therefore I have no hesitation in recommending Travel Insurance Saver to others. Reviewed on: 16th September 2020

Great insurance

Over 75 but still good deal

Best value for over 75 age on statins, for 2 seperate weeks to Greece in 2020. Then coronovirus hit and the June policy was transferred to June 2021 very simply. The September policy was cancelled and I received a full refund for that week. Reviewed on: 16th September 2020

Quick cheap detailed travel insurance

Great value and helpful after service.
