It does what it says on the box.

It is an opportunity to know that my savings are being used to help to do some good in the world. When I inquired, globally, about buying an ethical annuity in 2020. I wasn't able to find anything that i trusted to be genuine. That opportunity for me has gone by. But at least here I can, with a good conscience, deposit my savings. Reviewed on: 6th April 2023

Ethical bank

I've held an ISA with Triodos for some years. Not only do I receive a fair interest rate, but Triodos is the only bank I know of that very quickly passes on to the customer the rise in interest offered whenever the base interest rate goes up. This is in line with Triodos being an ethical bank not only in name but also in deed. I feel good in the knowledge that my savings are being used for helping the environment and good causes while at the same time enjoying the good service and safety of a well run bank. An honest bank.

I use their online banking service and it's straight forward.

Great customer service, efficient, and I can sleep at night knowing my money is only invested in good, positive things

I have banked on and off with Triodos for many years. their customer service has always been refreshingly brilliant - no maddening tech, just excellent and people centred service. Their interest rates are sustainable - a little below the 'market leaders' but that is because they only invest in positive things. Your money is really helping to invest in a better world, in so many ways. All banking should be like this! No boom and bust, just sensible, responsible, positive banking.
