One of the few ethical and safe places you can keep your money

Members of my family have used Triodos for some years for investment purposes. Apart from the obvious ethical reasons for using them in the first place, they have found that whenever they need advice, support or help with dealing with banking investment processes and transactions, that help is easily available and very friendly in it's delivery. Often bureaucracy can be daunting and it's easy to feel frustrated or 'stupid' for not understanding things and you will never feel that with Triodos. Reviewed on: 18th January 2023

Positive environmental impact, but careless in its treatment of DR holders

Triodos clearly has a positive environmental impact, but has been careless in its treatment of DRs and DR holders. Its Dutch-based management structure, apparently intended to prevent takeover, holds back a full realization of the value of the bank. While possibly necessary in the past, it is no longer justified. It would be better to move to a modern commercial structure to support Triodos' growth. Reviewed on: 18th January 2023
