Triodos are totally committed to making investment truly sustainable. Mist banks swill around greenwash, doing the minimum and making grand claims, while still investigating in business as usual. Triodos only invests in organisations that make positive contribution, changing the way we think about economic activity. But it delivers better returns too, investing in a viable and long term renewable economy and environment. There is no economy without a vibrant ecology. Reviewed on: 24th January 2022

A trusted ethical bank with a human face.

Knowing that my funds are only invested in projects that benefit communities and the environment is important to me. It is up to us as investors to make sure that we are not helping large firms to damage the planet and exploit its people. With Triodos we are guraranteed that our money is put to positive use. clear, honest and sound

I have found Triodos to be clear about their goals and processes, honest about their ethical and sustainable commitments, and therefore capable of doing 'what it says on the tin. This last comment may sound basic and obvious - but it is precisely what other banks and financial bodies fall short in - they may claim to be ethical and sustainable, but one wonders why it might beard to find out whether this is true.
