I don't want 'more ethical' banks - I just want ethical.

One thing that has really annoyed me recently is the trend for banks and finance houses to try to pull the wool over consumers' eyes with advertisements that promise 'more ethical' practises. But 'more ethical' than - frankly - not-ethical-at-all isn't saying a great deal, is it? Just say 'ethical', guys. Full stop. Because that's what I, and my family and friends, want - ethical, full stop. A bank we can trust. And I trust Triodos to use my money for good, not evil - no weapons, no dodgy pharmaceuticals and not lining the pockets of former Bullingdon members. That counts for a lot.
