High Street Bank v Triodos investment opportunities

I have approached a High Street Bank to invest some money, saying that I wanted to invest ethically, and after several weeks they came back to say they had NOTHING available. In contrast all Triodos' investment opportunities are well- thought through and benefitting communities and the environment. Reviewed on: 20th March 2026

Transparent information and great customer service

Triodos gave me the confidence to know my investments aligned with my values, with transparent opportunities and full breakdowns of where my money was going and the impact it was having. The customer service team were quick to respond to any questions I had, and when there was an issue with a transfer from another bank were available and incredibly helpful. Glad I found them!

I now have a number of varied accounts with Triodo, all of which I'm glad to say help serve honest, ethical, investment initiatives. I value the care they take in choosing how they 'handle' my money, with a positive approach to both what they invest in, and how that can benefit my own funds. Integrity, ethics and responsive.

Responsive, efficient and caring. Triodos Bank you feel like part of the family, and you know that you're money is being put to truly ethical investments. The integrity of the brand and what they do outshines others who make claims and market their 'goodness', yet invest in the arms trade, oil and gas companies both which further the inequality gap and suffering in the world.
