Not Greenwashing. They Mean It.

I have never before been convinced of a bank's ethical credentials. Previously I have regarded banks as rather like shops which have a minority of items labelled 'fair trade' leaving you to wonder whether all the rest is 'unfair trade' - so, in most banks some investment funds are 'ethical' leaving customers to assume the others are unethical. However, Triodos is different. Its main purpose seems to be to use money to support ethical projects and it tries hard to keep you informed as to what your money is being used to support. In so doing it gives customers a real feeling of contributing to work which brings hope in a world where so much seems to be going wrong. Reviewed on: 24th March 2023

I have been with Triodos bank for over ten years and during that period have seen them grow and they have achieved many environmental and sustainable. goals for the benefit of people and the planet.It is not only for this reason that I voted for them, their wide range of services and brilliant customer service are next to none . Great ethical bank!

Most banks take an 'amoral' approach to investment. This blind neutrality funds evil around the world, from arms trading to environmental destruction. Triodos is different. It is the most ethical bank I've ever used. I can sleep peacefully knowing my money is being put to good use. Reviewed on: 24th March 2023

Know where your money is used

Regular information is given about where the money is used. You can be confident it is not supporting extractive industries that are adding to the CO2 burden. Savers are actively encouraged to put their money where their convictions are by doing something rather than waiting for big business to change the way it thinks. Reviewed on: 24th March 2023
