Triodos is a great, responsible bank

My return has not been great so far but I understand this is a possibility with stocks and shares, especially in the current volatile environment caused by the US President. However, I know my input is going towards a good cause, which I would gladly have paid for anyway. This is a responsible and helpful bank with a great website and lots of warnings and guidance. This is my first year and I am learning but at least whilst I learn, good causes earn and I am okay with that. I hope they win, they deserve to Reviewed on: 10th April 2025

Opening a stocks & shares ISA was much easier than I thought. I had done some research on ethical stocks & shares ISAs before deciding to open one with Triodos, and I was very positively surprised by how quick, problem-free and simple it was to do so. The information provided on the website and at every step of the process was clear and easy to follow even for people like me who'd never really engaged with stocks & shares ISAs before. Managing the account is a matter of a few clicks in a well-designed app. I've opened a fair number of different accounts with different financial institutions over the years, but this was/is by far the most problem-free!
