Zempler Bank offer two personal current accounts – the Freedom account and the Activeplus account.

The Freedom account has no monthly fees and the Activeplus account is £5.95 per month. There may be fees for sending money and withdrawing or paying in cash. Both accounts come with the option to add on an overdraft.

Stands out amongst Challenger banks

A good experience and as a challenger bank/fintech the technology is good and having a call centre a good USP. I recommended you recently to a friend who has set up a business account and said it was a painless experience compared to the High Street banks. Reviewed on: 15th March 2025

Money thieves

I have tried to open a business account with this bank and they opened an account without asking any questions and after I transferred some money to pay my solicitor to pay their invoice straight away they froze my account and started to asking questions, and hold my money and not paying back , they are money thieves and please don’t use this bank Reviewed on: 14th March 2025
