Zempler Bank offer two personal current accounts – the Freedom account and the Activeplus account.

The Freedom account has no monthly fees and the Activeplus account is £5.95 per month. There may be fees for sending money and withdrawing or paying in cash. Both accounts come with the option to add on an overdraft.

17 years no issue

I was with Dec before I ever got a proper bank account and it’s been 17 years and I have no complaints. I’ve never had an issue with my account that couldn’t have been solved without a quick call Customer Service who have been very cordial and informative on the results the issue promptly. Peace of mind

I was worried about using on line banking. You hear about scams and hackers all the time. But since I have been with zempler bank I have had no issues at all. I am confident using their services. I highly recommend them. Reviewed on: 17th February 2026
