The Freedom account has no monthly fees and the Activeplus account is £5.95 per month. There may be fees for sending money and withdrawing or paying in cash. Both accounts come with the option to add on an overdraft.

Free full fat banking. What's not to like? I have US$ and Euro accounts for business invoicing and a Sterling current account for day to day bill paying. Great app makes it easy to set up standing orders and one-off payments. Reviewed on: 10th April 2026

I once had an Issue with my Card and when I called the agent I spoke(forgotten his name) was really helpful, made sure all my questions were answered, offered alternatives to me if needed.
