Zempler Bank offer two personal current accounts – the Freedom account and the Activeplus account.

The Freedom account has no monthly fees and the Activeplus account is £5.95 per month. There may be fees for sending money and withdrawing or paying in cash. Both accounts come with the option to add on an overdraft.

One thing that holds them back

The one thing that holds Zempler back is the fee for cash deposits. I use my account for work expenses, some of which are reimbursed in cash. Yet because of the high fee I have to use other methods to bank the cash into my Zempler account which is less than ideal. Reviewed on: 28th February 2025
