Zempler Bank offer two personal current accounts – the Freedom account and the Activeplus account.

The Freedom account has no monthly fees and the Activeplus account is £5.95 per month. There may be fees for sending money and withdrawing or paying in cash. Both accounts come with the option to add on an overdraft.

Great concepts but pricy

onversion is charged. One area that could be improved is customer support when travelling, particularly taking time zone differences into account. When things don’t go as planned abroad, getting timely assistance can be challenging, especially since security can be tighter when using cards overseas. Overall, it’s a great, modern banking option with a few areas that could be refined. Reviewed on: 25th January 2026

EASY STRAIGHTFORWARD BANKING

Easy account to set up and I’ve never once had an issue with the app whatsoever so I’ve never needed help from their customer services either unlike some of my accounts I have. Easy to navigate app too unlike some where it’s a minefield to find anything you’re looking for. Easy to make payments and easy to add in money as well. Basically i couldn’t ask for better realistically and that’s proper straining my head to think of anything better to ask for as there’s NOTHING in my circumstances. Reviewed on: 25th January 2026
