Zempler Bank offer two personal current accounts – the Freedom account and the Activeplus account.

The Freedom account has no monthly fees and the Activeplus account is £5.95 per month. There may be fees for sending money and withdrawing or paying in cash. Both accounts come with the option to add on an overdraft.

Great for building your credit rating

They do charge either a monthly fee or £1 per item paid out, but for the service they give, that’s good value for money, especially if you’re looking to build your credit rating - the monthly payment option helps with this. Reviewed on: 22nd February 2024
