The Freedom account has no monthly fees and the Activeplus account is £5.95 per month. There may be fees for sending money and withdrawing or paying in cash. Both accounts come with the option to add on an overdraft.

Zempler Life Saving

Good interest and fees

Had a overdraft for a while now and the fees and interest that are applied are good better than a credit card that I have. I never have an issue with using my card or topping it up. Statements come every month so plenty of warning about interest and fees Reviewed on: 22nd January 2026
