Zempler Bank offer two personal current accounts – the Freedom account and the Activeplus account.

The Freedom account has no monthly fees and the Activeplus account is £5.95 per month. There may be fees for sending money and withdrawing or paying in cash. Both accounts come with the option to add on an overdraft.

Great bank for rebuilding yuur credit rating

I have been with Zempler for over 5 years. Initially to improve my credit rating. In 2025 I transferred from NatWest to make Zempler my main account. The switching process was easy as Zempler took care of everything. Reviewed on: 11th April 2026
