Zempler Bank offer two personal current accounts – the Freedom account and the Activeplus account.

The Freedom account has no monthly fees and the Activeplus account is £5.95 per month. There may be fees for sending money and withdrawing or paying in cash. Both accounts come with the option to add on an overdraft.

I’ve remained a customer of Zempler for over 20 years.

I joined Zempler over 20 years ago back in the days when it was CashPlus. It has proved to be the best banking experience I’ve received having used at least half-a-dozen others. Reviewed on: 18th February 2026
