Zempler Bank offer two personal current accounts – the Freedom account and the Activeplus account.

The Freedom account has no monthly fees and the Activeplus account is £5.95 per month. There may be fees for sending money and withdrawing or paying in cash. Both accounts come with the option to add on an overdraft.

Cashplus

Cashplus do a debit card rather than credit (although I understand they do still have credit cards) but I like the debit card as cannot purchase without having money there ready. They do often offer credit if needed Reviewed on: 14th April 2021
