After spending time with a Zenith insurance representative on the phone I agreed to a quotation amount. A short while later a higher amount was taken out of my bank account. I then had to spend 2hrs 12 mins of my valuable time trying to reclaim the overcharged amount. 6 times my call was dropped after spending some considerable time going through the hoops of attempting to contact them, with no explanation. When I finally managed to speak to a representative they attempted to palm me off with the explanation term 'Quote Slippage'. Utter rubbish! This is straight forward Sharp practice...relying on a large percentage of overcharged customers to either not notice the overcharged or not be willing to painfully try to claw back the money. Renewal time and I don't want to use Zenith/Markerstudy BUT I have an active claim. The two options inwas given # drop the claim and repair it yourself # lose your maximum no claims.
