The worst experience I’ve ever had with a company. I took out a breakdown policy with 2Gether Insurance and when push came to shove and... The worst experience I’ve ever had with a company. I took out a breakdown policy with 2Gether Insurance and when push came to shove and I had actually had broken down, they made every excuse you could think of not to come out and help. They were RUDE and told me that I wouldn’t be covered, I was left stranded on the road. They tried to charge me £310 to recover me 5 miles home, absolutely ridiculous. To my surprise,... 2Gether Misleading Policy Terms Hidden in Small Print I purchased a taxi breakdown cover policy through GoCompare, specifically searching for taxi coverage. To my surprise, I later discovered that the policy I bought only applies to sole traders—and crucially, does not cover taxi use under the Business Class 1 level. When I contacted 2Gether for assistance after a breakdown, I was told my policy was invalid for my vehicle because I needed a Business Class 3 policy instead. This was never made clear during the purchase process. What’s most frustrating is that this critical limitation was buried in just one sentence within a 57-page document. This feels deliberately misleading. Important exclusions like this should be clearly stated upfront—not hidden in dense small print. Customers need to be extremely careful when dealing with 2Gether, as their wording can be confusing and potentially deceptive. In contrast, companies like The AA and RAC are much more transparent, clearly labelling taxi-specific policies with obvious headings and straightforward explanations. Overall, a very disappointing and frustrating experience. I would not recommend 2Gether for taxi drivers. Read more Read less

    Appalling service.

    Appalling service. I broke down in the middle of nowhere, on holiday, with virtually no phone signal and very poor mobile data so couldn't call... Appalling service. I broke down in the middle of nowhere, on holiday, with virtually no phone signal and very poor mobile data so couldn't call them from the roadside. A very kind couple took me to a location less than 3 minutes away from my car where I could call the company. The woman taking my call kept insisting that I return to my car in order to give them a specific location by sending a pin as I was on a road that she couldn't find on her map. Despite my explaining again and again that this was impossible due to the lack of signal, she remained very unhelpful. Annoyingly, she was able to locate where I was making the phone call from but said that it was company policy that they couldn't send the breakdown people there as I had to be with my car- otherwise there would be a fine of £150. At one point, when I was in tears as I had no idea how else to describe my location, she told that they couldn't help me at all. It was only due to the kindness of local people to be able to help give the location of my car that I then received breakdown assistance. If they had not helped, I would have been left without any assistance whatsoever. When the woman told me that they wait could be up to two and half hours, I asked if I needed to be with my car or could wait in the cafe that I was making the call from. The lady told me that she would ask the agency to call me 10 minutes before they were due to arrive. I told the lady that I was a good 15 to 20 minute walk from my car and asked if the agency could please call withing this time frame so I wouldn't have to wait in a freezing car along with my dog, was told that no, they could only call me 10 minutes before. The lady then told me she would be calling back to let me know who would be coming and a more accurate time frame- great, except I asked her to please make sure she called back on the number for the cafe and not my mobile as I had zero signal- I asked her twice or even three times that this would happen and she assured me it would. 45 minutes later, with still no call back, I rang the company back only to be told that the breakdown people would be with me within the next 40 minutes and that they had called to let me know and left a voicemail....on my mobile. Whilst I understand the lady on the phone was simply following company policy, my whole experience was awful. I felt totally abandoned and helpless. I could not recommend a company less.     Horrible service.

My policy number and reg have always been enough with other companies. No help came from them.     AVOID, scam policy that I was mis-sold.

    AVOID. Scam policy that I was mis-sold. Supposed to be motor trade breakdown cover but it excludes cover for vehicles with no tax so is... AVOID. Scam policy that I was mis-sold. Supposed to be motor trade breakdown cover but it excludes cover for vehicles with no tax so is effectively useless (this is what trade plates are for). Would not assist with recovery.     Auto renewed without informing me

    Auto renewed my breakdown for 2025/26. Only discovered this when I checked my bank account. Have emailed twice requesting reasons for this but still waiting for a response
