It took over a month to get a reply to my claim. It took over a month to get a reply to my claim. Then only to send details to your underwriters. Still waiting a reply from them for over a week!!! Reviewed on: 7th October 2025

I’ve been a craftinsure customer for over 15 years, initially as a dinghy sailor and latterly as a narrowboat owner. Fortunately in neither case have I needed their claims service but in all my dealings I have been dealt with courteously, effectively and knowledgeablely. Reviewed on: 13th September 2025

I insured various craft for the 25 years with craftinsure. I have not make a claim yet. Always compatible, they were £500 cheaper than the nearest competor when I moved from sail to power cruisers last year. There websites is simple to navigate and obtaining a quote is a breeze. Customer service is good too, auctioning changes by return. I recommended craftinsure to the person who bought my last sailing cruiser, he did insure with them, and got a reward,! Craftinsure DO reward loyalty

What I like most about Craftinsure is that they don't reward loyalty by hiking the premium every year as some insurers do. The price I pay today has risen by less than the rate of inflation over the 20 years I have been with Craftinsure. That is pretty remarkable and one of the reasons I continue to renew with them every year. Their customer insurance has also been first class on the few occasions I have needed to talk with someone.
