Been with GJW for several me 20 years. T' & C's have always been clear and uncomplicated. Have had one claim earlier this year (2026) and was handled perfectly, even though I had already had repairs as had forgotten I was covered! Reviewed on: 16th July 2026

Reliable, friendly and competatively priced.

I have had my dinghy and related equipment insured with them for years. The premium is very reasonable and has changed little over the years despite car and house insurance rising steeply! On the occasions I have contacted customer services with queries they have been friendly and helpful. Reviewed on: 16th July 2026

GJW fair prices and offer basic RCR cover for free.

GJW Direct Marine Insurance are customer friendly and professional. They offer very reasonable prices and an automatic basic cover with the River Canal Rescue or discount on your renewal with RCR if you are already a member as there is different levels of cover. Reviewed on: 16th July 2026
