easy to insure older boats

I've renewed my policy with GJW for years, without even looking elsewhere. They make it easy to talk with a real human being and renew over the phone. They make it easy to insure older boats. Policies are straightforward and cover all I need. Although I've never had to make a claim, I trust they actually would pay out in the event I did make a claim. Reviewed on: 14th September 2025

Poor value at renewal time

Insurance renewal invite went up from £440 2024-25 to £570 2025-26; an increase of around 30%. Ridiculous. 0% interest free instalments no longer offered; poor. found better deal elsewhere for same cover; reverted to previous insurer. Reviewed on: 13th September 2025
