Useless. Applied, Referred, Never Contacted Again

Applied online and my application was referred. Not a problem as this has happened to me before now with prior credit checks. Then I waited..and waited and couldn't work out why no one had contacted me. I decided to do a bit research online, only to discover how god awful this company is when it comes to Loans. Based upon Admirals reputation, I thought I was dealing with a professional outfit. Clearly I was very wrong and this application a total waste of my time and credit search. Not happy. AVOID!!!! Crap

Rubbish rates and they do a hard search affecting your credit score

I will never again try anything from Admiral. They advertise a rate and give a completely different ( higher) rate. On top of that they do a Hard search on you which affects your credit score and most of the big names do a soft search. I got a loan form M&S Bank as they are not full of nonsense and it didn't require to mess my scoring. Reviewed on: 4th April 2018

Waste of time, there are way much better services than this

The interest rate was actually 4 times higher than the one advertised initially. There are so many loan providers with much more competitive rates. Took them 4 days to approve it but I had to cancel as the APR was way too much. Be careful before applying as they are doing a hard search bringing down the credit score for no reason. Search a bit more online as there are way much better services than Admiral. Reviewed on: 13th February 2018

Stresssful application.

Customer service very friendly and excellent. But kept on asking for more and more paperwork which went on for several weeks after loan application and even when correct paperwork submitted still wanted more. Understand the need for paperwork but could have asked for it all in one go. So much wasted time. In the end pulled out of the process. Customer service staff were friendly though. Absolutely terrible. Avoid if you value your creditscore

Absolutely rubbish, treating a loan like a mortgage.... asking for additional documents then once those have been provided asking for more additional documents. Wasted my time and damaged my credit rating performing a hard credit search before asking for ridiculous amounts of documentation. Have now gone with another lender who hasn't given me the same annoyance and sorted things out in due course rather than dragging the process out over multiple days. 1/10 will be advising everyone I know to avoid and I will never attempt to use your service again.... You won't get the competitive rate advertised

I applied for a loan with Admiral Loans having used them before for car insurance. Applied and was given a competitive rate however when paperwork arrived rate was a lot higher, telephoned them and cancelled. Reviewed on: 31st May 2017
