Having recently rescued a FrenchBulldog this opened up me up to the minefield that is pet insurance. The difference in quotes was ridiculous! I was completely at a loss as to what I needed. After contacting various companies and still feeling at a loss the charity I got my dog from suggested Agria. The gentleman I spoke to was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. He explained my various options, why polices varied so differently and helped me to make an informed choice suitable for my dogs needs. Well trained staff

It has always been a pleasure dealing with them and seeing how seriously they take the principle of treating the customer fairly. Many other personal lines insurers' staff could learn a lot from this approach. I occasionally have some non standard technical questions regarding my 3 cats. I like the fact that if the person doesn't know or is not totally certain of the answer, they refer it and I can get a sensible reply. I also like the fact that, as a former City Underwriter, I can talk to an Agria underwriter or claims person if necessary. The claims handling has also been of a decent standard. As a breeder l appreciate the ease of which it is to issue online cover notes.

I’ve not had much cause to claim but do issue cover notes. I don’t have any issues with cover etc but they didn’t get a full star rating as l don’t agree with the policy regarding whelping cover which has to start 12 weeks before mating?? That’s 3 months!!!! Why?? Each time l intend to take the cover out my girls come into season early and I’m too late to upgrade cover, very frustrating!! Reviewed on: 11th September 2020

Great claim process and hassle free

I unfortunately had to make a claim. I thought it was going to be a fight with the insurance to get any kind of payment. How wrong could I have been, the process was simple and paid out all that was due with no fuss. I would highly recommend them to anybody. Reviewed on: 11th September 2020

Simple things mean a lot! When I signed up with Agria, I found the customer service excellent and very helpful, not pushy just spoke about my new pup and what I really needed in my insurance. Just got another pup and will be signing him up with Agria...excellent service and they stay in touch via email with lots of interesting and fun info etc Reviewed on: 11th September 2020
