AVOID AT ALL COSTS Worst insurance company ever. They tell you to put in a claim from the vet. You do and then they deny without giving you a reason. When you call, they... Read more Reviewed on: 13th January 2024

Billy, our dog had glaucoma, had to have an eye removed, agria payed out the amount straight away so there was no waiting, no extra suffering, we need medication each month for remaining eye, & always pay the balance for us, Billy says thanks x Reviewed on: 7th October 2022

Excellent

My Krissy was hit by a car and broke ner leg. I rang Agria, spoke to a veterinary nurse. She was really kind and helpful. Once the main form was filled out by myself and vet. They took care of everything which meant I could focus on helping Krissy to recover. One form only ,marked as ongoing and paid directly to the vet. Taking that added pressure away made a huge difference, to myself and Krissy. Reviewed on: 7th October 2022

Kaiser's treatment claim.

Kaiser has a long term allergy and the cost of frequent vet visits soon mounted up. I made a claim and the process was made so easy by my vets processing the claims form and Agria paying out the claim in a matter of weeks. Would recommend Agria to other pet owners. Reviewed on: 7th October 2022

Great cover and value for money

Having two litlle cats I adore I wanted them to be insuranced in case of any illness. Can't recommend this company enough. Set up was easy and my two animals are covered for life. Great value for money and I feel confident that if anything happens my furry loved ones are covered Reviewed on: 7th October 2022

So pleased I insured with Agria

So far, I haven’t needed to use Agria pet insurance for my puppy Buddy. I receive regular informative emails from Agria on how to care for my puppy at each stage of his growth, which has helped me immensely in doing the right things for him. I am very much reassured knowing I can contact them if I have any worries or concerns. Reviewed on: 7th October 2022

A caring insurer

My dog Beau is blind and Argia were recommended by Blind Dogs UK and I have stayed with them because Beau is the priority. I have found them helpful and great communication, but not too much! The cover is perfect and I feel safe in the knowledge that Beau will be given the best care and support. Reviewed on: 7th October 2022

Agria has been very fair and approachable in all of our dealings

Our dear pet Dachshund , Tommy , a miniature long haired little boy, needed some careful treatment at his Vet, and Agria were in support all of the way. Reviewed on: 7th October 2022

Expensive, and they will try anything not to pay out

My female cat needed a caesarian. I always take all my cats to the vet for a post-birthing check, and because I had done that with her previous litter, Agria claimed the birthing difficulties that led to the c-section were a pre-existing condition, which was completely ridiculous as she had delivered 6 kittens previously completely normally. My vet had to appeal, which was a waste of everyone's time. Every claim seems to have the same issue, and the premiums are way above other insurers who pay out without quibbling (I know, as I've changed insurer for most of my cats). This is, however, the only insurer who gives breeding cover, which is why I use them for my active girls. Their web interface is pretty terrible, and if I'm honest the terms for the breeding cover are pretty ridiculous, as they are the same for males as for females. Reviewed on: 7th October 2022
