Sneakiy membership fee charge without warning

I signed up several years ago for the nectar credit card and have been very happy with the service until they suddenly charged me £30 annual membership fee this year without warning. Customer service poor. I cancelled account immediately and stopped using the card but they still took a small charge until the cancellation was processed at their end (despite the card no longer valid. No issues, but the rewards are less competitive than other options, such as Chase, and it comes with an annual cost. The reintroduction of Nectar double up could help. Reviewed on: 12th April 2024

Good way to boost Nectar points, even with the annual fee. With more and more companies now accepting AMEX, points can now be gained in many places. Reviewed on: 13th August 2023

A good way to boost your nectar points balance, although its not as good now that there is an annual fee. Also not everywhere takes American Express. Reviewed on: 3rd April 2022

Good way to accumulate Nectar points, however less attractive now there is an annual fee. More places seem to be accepting AMEX as well. Reviewed on: 18th December 2019

Over the years it hasproved to be a good way to accumulate additional Nectar points. Although its less attractive than it used to be, since they introduced a yearly fee. Reviewed on: 30th June 2018
