Poor value compared to other savings providers We have a number of savings accounts. Atom bank has been the worst by far in terms of offering one rate and then dropping the rate. Do not recommend Reviewed on: 9th March 2026

Invasive App Experience

Atom only stood out for their high interest rate, however the app user experience was unpleasant due to invasive biometrics - which may appeal to younger users but were not optional. Reviewed on: 17th April 2025

Top interest rates

Excellent interest rate and app. Only serious issue is current inability to move money between accounts. This leads to the crazy situation of having to withdraw money in order to reinvest in alternative products! Reviewed on: 17th April 2025

Excellent app based bank.

Excellent app based bank. Only had to contact customer services once by phone and my call was answered quickly and the issue dealt with very well. Rates aren’t quite market leading as they used to be, which is a shame. Reviewed on: 17th April 2025
