Clean and efficient Atom has multiple products available dependent on your goals and the App interface is very clean and simple to use. Reviewed on: 16th June 2026

Poor value compared to other savings providers We have a number of savings accounts. Atom bank has been the worst by far in terms of offering one rate and then dropping the rate. Do not recommend Reviewed on: 9th March 2026

Atom Bank Fits the Bill

I wanted somewhere to invest money and get a decent rate of interest. I also wanted somewhere that didn't mither me constantly with news of new investments which I neither wanted nor needed. Good rate, clear app, reassuring processes.

I had not heard of Atom bank but came to it via the Martin Lewis MSE website, where it was listed for its competitive fixed term interest rate. I read the positive customer reviews, knew it was FSCS protected, and decided to go for it. Setting up the account, and the security arrangements, on line was fairly straightforward but took a little time... which I found reassuring!. Nice clear interface on the app and I had quick pick up for the one phone call I have made. So far all good! Reviewed on: 4th March 2026
