Poor value compared to other savings providers We have a number of savings accounts. Atom bank has been the worst by far in terms of offering one rate and then dropping the rate. Do not recommend Reviewed on: 9th March 2026

Easy to use app

I have had 3 bonds with atom & have found the app really easy to use. No searching high & low for what I want to know, it’s all so simple. Obviously atom need to also have a competitive rate for me to open a bond with them, which they have had. I would easily recommend this bank to friends & family that do online banking. Great app with great rates

Atom is app only, and years ago it wasn't great. Rejoining this year; things have improvement massively. The app is more snappy and easy to navigate, and the accounts you can open in it have great rates. They also make it easy to have multiple fixed accounts, and offer short term accounts too; which is nice if you're saving with a date in mind. Reviewed on: 9th September 2024

** BEWARE - Unable to withdraw savings!

** BEWARE that you might not be able to withdraw your money if you need to! Great bank until my circumstances changed and I needed to access some of my savings. Atom refused to allow me to with draw funds from the 1yr fixed saver account. They will only allow you to withdraw if you go through the 'Financial Hardship' process and they expect you to prove that you need the money before letting you withdraw. Who's money is it? So complaint made and now I'm off to log the complaint with the FCA. Reviewed on: 5th September 2024

Easy and informative

Excellent clear communications. The App is well designed and easy to navigate. Answers to any queries are easy to find on the App and its intuitive nature means that your time is not wasted and frustration is kept at bay. The product descriptions are interactive and informative and the interest rates have always been competitive. The instant illustration of ‘what you right earn’ is really helpful and it’s not an’example’ figure as you can enter the precise amount you want to invest. Reviewed on: 24th May 2024
