My wife and I have used Avanti for our travel insurance for a number of years. We have always received outstanding service - particularly when I had to be repatriated from Rhodes after a minor heart problem - and we have found the cover provide to be excellent value for money. On my second contact/enquiry was dealt with efficiently and effectively. Realistic quote considering that I have had a major operation for bowel cancer - now judged to be no longer at risk from that particular threat. Undiagnosed thyroid condition simply excluded from annual policy. Much better experience than first contact where inexperienced representative insisted on repeating information re other people in party before every question despite the fact that I had stated that I was a single traveller at the outset - very poor - delayed taking out policy for at least 2 months because telephone experience so gruelling!!!
