Clear, concise and "no messing"

It was so straightforward to set up our travel insurance, especially as my husband and I have had various medical issues in the past. The medical questionnaires are easy to follow and still give cover where other companies have offered cover with hugely inflated premiums. Older, medically challenged and money- strapped-Avanti is your man

10 weeks in India a good idea till insurance becomes an issue. Medical screening a first and limited insurance companies to give cover for over 70's plus medical needs plus India plus 10 weeks. Avanti gives the cover and the good price so why choose anyone else ! Reviewed on: 1st August 2017

Unfortunately we needed to make a claim after a medical cancellation, and the claim was dealt with efficiently and speedily. Furthermore we were told exactly what was happening at each stage. The claim was met in full as far as the amount we had insured. This raises a point, however. If one has an annual multi-trip policy, check if the price of a booked trip exceeds the limit specified clearly enough in the policy wording. We didn't, but were grateful to receive the major part of the cost back so we've already booked the next one! Reviewed on: 1st August 2017

Great service on a travel medical claim

I became ill on a Caribbean cruise with an ulcerated infected foot and breathing problems. Avanti dealt with my medical claim and cancellation of 2 future holidays on medical advice, speedily and most efficiently. Their service was truly 5 star. Reviewed on: 31st July 2017
