In March last year I was in Australia, booked to travel home on the 31st of March when the Australian government suspended all international flights from the 30th of March. I contacted my travel agent at Avanti, he responded asap (time differences) asked how he could help, I told him and within 20 minutes he rang back with all flights sorted.
