Endowment £20k short & refusing to pay out policy

I had an endowment with Aviva which has finished with a £20k shortfall. Not only do Aviva not care about the shocking performance of their company but they are refusing to pay out the policy & have effectively stolen the money. Despite 4 complaints, a catalogue of phone calls & emails I have made no progress in 10 weeks. This company are a bunch of fraudsters & has the most incompetent & thickest bunch of people working in their customer services. It's impossible to speak to anybody in authority as they are all at home & don't call back as promised. Aviva is full of fraudsters, liars & incompetence, avoid at all costs unless you want your life to be ruined. Reviewed on: 7th September 2020

A Company You Can Rely On

I now have multiple products with Aviva - home, car, pension & investment. The reason is that I have always found them to be reliable, obtainable, responsive, professional & competitive. When you contact them by phone, you can quickly get through to the right person who is also empowered to make decisions. The website is easy to navigate and all my policies are viewable under the one convenient MyAviva umbrella. Regarding my investment product, despite the market turmoil created by the pandemic, the value has held up very well. It reacts just as quickly to upward trends as the reverse. Aviva Pension

Spoke to Lee Johnstone to inform of my husband's passing and make a claim on his pension. Lee was so helpful and patient, considering I had to go off to find relevant documentation. I kept apologising and he was so reasurring and didn't mind holding. Really appreciate the dedication during this difficult situation the country is currently facing Reviewed on: 26th March 2020

Great

Having never invested before, a Stock and Shares ISA with Wealthify Aviva was an easy, simple and clear route to start investing. With great help from the customer service team and an easy to use webite/app to add, remove and keep track of funds. along with great returns! Reviewed on: 21st January 2020

Pension Investment

On the advice of my advisor I switched to Aviva due to better /faster service/ request response and better fees. Very good, helpful response to set up internet so I can track investments, however has took 5 months to sort out the tax paid up front when I should not have to, due to level of monthly payment I take.
