Web site and mobile app issues. Sometimes accounts are not listed at all, sometimes accounts are missing. This needs sorting out. Reviewed on: 17th September 2024

small saver

Im not a regular customer, nor a very big saver, but for my purposes, I find the Branch staff very helpful. I like the fact I can still talk to people face to face. It is easy to transfer money. I liked having email alerts if better savings options became available, even if I then did not take it up Reviewed on: 17th September 2024

The only Building Society for us.

We have had mortgages with Bath Building Society since 1972. In 1991, we wanted to buy a B&B in Bath, and we approached BBS for a mortgage which was approved by the Manager, who said, ‘You’re not going to let us down, are you?’. We have always found Bath Building Society to be friendly and approachable, never impersonable, their staff always helpful. We use Moorland Road Branch and Wood Street Branch in Bath, and there’s usually a familiar face to help. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Reviewed on: 16th September 2024

Keeping account open as I’ve had it for ages

Whilst it was local when l opened my account, the nearest building society is now approx 10 miles away. I had issues registering on line and when asked for help, l received a rather terse / short reply! I wanted to open an account for my god daughter and was told that’s not possible as she is not related. Their interest rate is nothing to shout about either. So really, I’ve kept the account going simply because I’ve been with them for ages Reviewed on: 15th September 2024
