I came into register my husbands death. He only passed 3 weeks ago and I really didn’t know how I was going to cope with all the paperwork I would be expected to complete. Jane took me into a private room and over a cup of tea she reassured me and helped me complete the forms required. I would like to say that all dealings I have had with Bath Building Society have been excellent and nothing is too much trouble - even when I popped into the temporary branch at Head Office whilst Wood Street was having a make over. Issue with Bath B S.

I originally decided to join and save with Bath B S. Filled in an ISA transfer form and signed and sent it off. But because of Royal Mail, and Bath stating I had only a limited time to fund my account, I telephoned Bath to cancel my application. Little did I know that Bath had gone ahead without my consent and knowledge. This caused me a 4 hour telephone call to different bank and building societies trying to track my matured missing ISA Reviewed on: 16th May 2026

We always aim to make our processes clear and would only progress with a transfer once we’ve received a completed and signed instruction providing authority to proceed.
