Great service

I got a loan at a very reasonable interest rate & make repayments from my salary each month. This has been an enormous help because it is taken before I get it. I recently used the loan services from Bradford Dist...

I recently used the loan services from Bradford District Credit Union, and overall, I had a positive experience. What went well: • Friendly and supportive staff: The team was approachable and took the time to explain everything clearly, especially since I was a bit nervous about taking out a loan. • Fair interest rates: Unlike payday lenders or some high-street banks, BDCU offered more ethical rates that felt manageable and fair. • Quick decision process: Once I submitted all the required documents, the turnaround was fast. I was kept updated throughout. • Community-focused: I appreciated that they’re a not-for-profit organisation aiming to help local people, not just make money. What could be improved: • Website/user portal: The online experience was a bit clunky. I had some trouble uploading documents and navigating my loan info. • Phone waiting times: On a couple of occasions, it took a while to get through to someone, which was frustrating when I needed urgent clarification. Final thoughts: If you’re looking for an affordable, ethical loan option and want to deal with people who actually listen and care, BDCU is a great alternative to mainstream banks.
