Every member has a Regular Share Account where you can pay in as often as you like with regular deposits or lump sums. The Christmas Savings Account requires a minimum payment of £2 per week or £10 per month.

Being a dad with two kids and having faced rejections from banks like Barclays and Santander due to our not-so-great credit, discovering Bradford District Credit Union was a turning point for us. During the COVID crisis, they provided us with essential loan support, saving us from the dreadful alternatives of loan sharks. Every interaction with the Credit Union staff has been exceptional. They are understanding, patient, and genuinely interested in helping, which is refreshing. It’s reassuring to speak to someone who knows your name and situation without needing to repeat your financial history each time. The financial terms offered by the Credit Union are transparent and fair, with no hidden fees, making them a trusted partner in our family's financial recovery. Their support extends beyond just business transactions; it feels like they're part of our community. I continue to recommend them to friends and family. It’s not just the financial help but also the ongoing support and advice that make all the difference; you can tell when I can now treat my kids occasionally. I had been thinking that it would be incredibly helpful if the Credit Union could offer workshops on financial literacy, specifically sessions on budgeting, emergency savings, and managing debt, which would be invaluable, especially for families like ours who are working hard to improve our financial situation. Either way, I wanted to pass this forward. Thanks to Bradford District Credit Union, my family and I feel more secure and supported than ever as we head into 2024.
