Top for Service!

Friendly staff and no hidden extras

Very pleasant staff and changes are just done with no fees, which some other companies charge. They are usually competitive and with the no hidden charges and good quality call centres they are hard to exclude from any insurance needs Reviewed on: 2nd September 2018

Worse company ever

If there is a problem, through no fault of your own, you may find your insurance policy cancelled and driving round with no cover and not aware of this. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2018

Don't waste your money

Worst insurance company I've ever used. Don't return phone calls or emails. The hire car that I had paid extra for took 5 days to arrive instead of 8 hours. They advised it was OK for me to drive my car after a lorry hit it even though the rear lights no longer existed. The advice was it should be OK to drive during the day but not at night. I pointed out it would not pass an MOT with no rear lights so it is not legal to drive. Reviewed on: 21st August 2018

Great car insurance

As a first time driver, when I joined LV, almost two years ago, I was a but apprehensive about selecting a company. During my first year the service I received was so good that I stayed with them and my renewal quote was cheaper than anywhere else which is how it should be. Made my claim easy, paid out for full repairs, and for hire car. Very impressed!

Was hit by an idiot from behind and called the police and LV and everything from then on was easy, and my Suzuki was repaired, valeted and back as quickly as possible, considering the parts were delayed by the earthquake in Asia. Hire car was with me up to the day I picked up my car, and I was very happy with the little fuss that it took to get my claim paid. Reviewed on: 13th August 2018

We had an accident last week in our brand new VW Tiguan, we'd only had the car for 2 weeks and had only just bought our insurance with LV - we've never been with them before. We're due to go on holiday next week, our car tows our caravan so we needed the repair authorising as soon as possible so we didn't lose our holiday. LV did everything they could to help us, they liaised with the garage and phoned me back every time they said they would. They were calm even when I wasn't. I honestly cannot tell you how impressed I am with their customer service. I'll never go anywhere else now. I thought good customer service was a thing of the past but its very much present at LV.
