By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Perfect Service, Use of Technology & Customer Support

Having been with By Miles for some time now I really can't give the company enough praise. The technology is simple to install both in-car and using the phone app. Whenever I had a question, customer support were helpful and polite, answering exactly the question being asked. By Miles really does offer an innovative solution especially for people who don't necessarily use their car on a day-to-day basis, made even more simply by the style and content of the companies communications. Finally, a policy that reflects my car usage!

I used to work in a job where I would be commuting between bristol and Coventry regularly which meant I had high mileage- to make this more comfortable I bought an expensive BMW. Then when I started a new job in Bristol I was within walking distance of office, therefore my car is idle for most of the week and I have been contemplating getting rid of the car that I love because of the running cost . ByMiles, ByFar the best!

I first came across ByMiles last year whilst I was shopping for my car insurance. It was the most easiest and smoothest process to get insured, there was no hassle and with everything being online based it suits me as I have much more control and involvement with tracking how many miles I have driven and how much each journey costs. For the first time ever, I have not shopped around and have let my car insurance automatically renew with ByMiles! For the first time I’ve not had to stress or worry at this time of the year to look for a cheaper quote as their quote was by far cheaper than all the other providers who emailed me. I chose ByMiles because of the market-leading, initial low policy price. The tracker and monthly mileage payments, together with the app, have all worked very smoothly. I can only give 4/5 stars as I haven’t yet had to contact their customer service team. Reviewed on: 29th July 2020

ByMile is the only new challenger product within this space! It is a novel idea one that rewards people based on their miles ( which is the fair way to do).
