By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Great alternative to expensive insurance

This way of insuring cars is easy and cheap if you don’t drive thousands of miles, it really saves paying premium prices that most insurance companies charge. I have already been telling my family and friends all about it! Reviewed on: 29th July 2020

What can I say , it’s amazing , I’ve been so pleased . I don’t drive much maybe to the shops and back so imagine how pleased I was when I found an insurance policy that you only pay by the mile . Perfect for low mileage drivers

I was contemplating having to sell my car but because bymiles is such good value I have been able to keep it and use it on my terms. I feel I’m actually paying a fair price for how much I use my car. Great insurance scheme with many bonuses

I thoroughly reccommend By Miles. Not only was it the best buy on the price comparison but it has this handy tracker app. The app sent me a notification that I had accidentally driven in the congestion charge zone. I was unaware but when I checked the app I had driven three blocks in the zone and out again straight away. When I went online I found out that the app had saved ne from getting an £80 fine! It also can locate my vehicle when I have left it on one of the resident bays in several of the streets near my house. The app also tells you your average speed, top speed and route for each journey. I can not recommend By Miles enough. From their amazing customer service, to their innovative car insurance and fantastic value for money.
