By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

The best car insurance for young drivers looking for affordable easy and reliable car insurance. The app is great you can see exactly what miles you’ve driven and the cost and everything was easy to set up. I will honestly never use a different insurance again. Reviewed on: 29th July 2020

Not been with By Miles that long but it seems like such a sensible approach to car insurance, especially at the moment as due to covid-19, I don't know how far I'll be travelling this year. Its working out pretty cheap so far! Reviewed on: 29th July 2020

This is the best car insurance provider I have ever been with. The app is user-friendly, and they send you relevant emails! I appreciated the helpful emails they sent during the lockdown too. Best bit - pricing is fair and affordable too. I would highly recommend them! Reviewed on: 29th July 2020

Such a simple idea, yet so effective. It has saved me so much money only paying for the miles I drive. I've not had to make a claim (touch wood!) but the couple of times I've needed customer support it has been a seamless and pleasant experience.
