By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

The company seems fine unless you're unlucky enough to have a claim. They don't want to reinsure you. Not sure about their organisation either. My certificate of insurance had a different date to the one I was quoted on cancellation. Two calls and this was never rectified. One hand doesn't seem to know what the other hand is up to. By Miles is an earth shaker in the world of car insurance, in terms of value for money, i have never experienced such great car insurance, they are simply the best.

By far best insurance out there for low mileage drivers. I was looking elsewhere as you usually do but then the price came through and it is by far better than comparison providers. IF you are going to purchase use YG16 YZN for £50 in free miles. It goes a very long way..... :) Reviewed on: 10th February 2020

A no- brainer!

By Miles may not be for everyone, but if like me your mileage is low and share the car with a family member, it makes splitting the cost of insurance easy and much fairer. I have shared the good news with friends so they can see if By Miles is for them too. It was so easy to sign up and install the tracker, I have not used the claims service (fortunately) but all other aspects of the service has been excellent. Great concept and easy to set up. The app also has a car diagnostic option because of where the plug in goes. You can also get £50 worth of free miles by using a referral link.
