By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Compared to my many previous Car Insurers By Miles is a breath of fresh air My contract is tailor made to my car usage. I am kept informed regularly of any news that is relevant to me Unlike previous insurers who only ever contacted me to tell me my next years insurance cover had increased in price! When I was offered a quote I didn't quite understood how they worked, but after phoning them and spoke to an excellent team who explained it clearly to me I thought Brill an insurance that cares more for their customers. Now being with ByMiles for a month now I am overwhelmed with the purchase and every conversations I have with friends and family my insurance comes in and I'm forever recommending to them and showing how much each journey is costing me and how much I am saving. ByMiles is an insurance company every other insurers should take notice to. They are doing things right. Thank you ByMiles team I am very greatfull for your excellent customer service skills. Best insurance I've ever had

Ive been driving for around 23years. Taking out insurance is the least enjoyable process of the whole car driving thing. This all changed when I came across Bymiles in March 2019. From the quote through to the after sales service I've had is phenomenal. I don't think Ive ever recommended a company to friends, family and colleagues as much as I have Bymiles! The competitiveness in the price, to the aftersales service is the best Ive ever had. And honestly I'm not exaggerating. All I can say, is well done and carry on what you're doing. Easy to use, (cost)-effective and great for my needs

I own a car. In London. I know, I'm sorry. My parents live miles away from a train-station and I have to go and see them occasionally. Co-incidentally, occasionally is how often I drive the car. As we all are, I was looking for the cheapest insurance possible - and By Miles came into my awareness. It seemed a perfect fit: only pay for the miles you drive, and so far it's been great. It's worked out cheaper, the app has been useful and tells you exactly how much you've spent on those random trips to the supermarket (0.19p) and the longer trips to the other side of the country (about £14 because it caps at 150 miles. Brilliant!) - I just wouldn't recommend moving your car to a better parking spot on the street as it'll cost you 0.02p. A small price to pay by comparison though... Whenever I've spoken to them they've been helpful and prompt and although I haven't had need to speak to them about my policy (and hopefully never will) I have faith that it would be a painless process. Thumbs up. Hope my renewal continues to be cheap and effective. Reviewed on: 10th September 2019
