By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Ideal car insurance for low mileage users

I had been quoted £700 for car insurance. I only do about 5000 miles a year and was delighted when going on a comparison site found ByMiles insurance. Obtaining a quote and establishing a motor insurance policy was very straightforward, thanks to excellent advice from customer service. On-line billing details helps to understand exactly each monthly cost. This is an innovative way to provide really high value motor insurance at an extremely competitive cost.
