By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Does what is says on the tin

I've always paid significantly more than what I am now paying for car insurance. The days of using my cat as a central London resident have reduced to a bare minimum. So as you can imagine: paying as you go almost certainly makes much more sense, because I'm pay penny's per month instead of pounds . Subsequent to changing to pay as you go, my premium at the end of the year for car insurance is much lower . For me this works fine because it means no monthly payments for car that hasn't been used . Pay as you go, in my opinion works better for people who use their car when they need to. Was recommended by miles by a friend. It’s simple and easy to set up and use and because I don’t do a lot of heavy miles in my car the system that operates is pay for what you use. I estimate I will roughly save £100 per year. Reviewed on: 10th September 2019

I have two cars insured by this company and it’s very cheap for me saving me around £400 a year.Customer service is quick and efficient and the black box you plug in the car tells me the problems with the car if I have an engine issue and if my car is stolen I can trace it on the app.Highly recommend this company it’s a no brainier. My first year with this company. Super efficient service from the beginning. Recently had flat tyre on a Saturday night RAC came along dealt with the situation.
